Scientist II/ Senior Scientist, BioML

Lila Sciences is seeking a Scientist II/Senior Scientist, BioML to develop AI and automation platforms for biomedicine. This role focuses on integrating mechanistic modeling with experimental design, building reasoning systems, and analyzing biological data to test hypotheses. You will design experiments, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive applied scientific work.

• Encode mechanistic reasoning into systems and build evaluations
• Analyze biological data including single-cell, proteomics, and genetic data
• Design experimental campaigns and analyze returned data
• Build outcome-verifiable benchmarks and set evidence standards
• Collaborate with ML scientists, engineers, and experimental scientists
• Communicate results to scientific, engineering, and therapeutic audiences
