About this role

Norton Rose Fulbright is building a new R&D capability to develop AI-enabled solutions for legal services. As an AI Engineer, you will build end-to-end AI capabilities for R&D products, including agentic workflows, retrieval systems, and user-facing features. This hands-on role involves translating technical designs into secure, observable, and maintainable products, working collaboratively across discovery, prototyping, and production.

What we are looking for

Build complete AI-enabled product features across UI, backend, and AI orchestration
Design and build agentic AI workflows with structured outputs and tool calling
Develop reusable agent harnesses for consistency, inspectability, and safety
Implement grounded retrieval and context patterns using firm data sources
Manage prompts, model configuration, and tool schemas for product assets
Write maintainable Python and TypeScript code using Docker, Git, and CI/CD
