Helix AI Engineer, Modeling

Figure, an AI robotics company, is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Helix team in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on designing and advancing core AI model architectures and learning approaches for embodied AI systems, specifically for humanoid robots. You will work on multimodal modeling for perception, reasoning, and action, from research to deployment.

• Design and develop model architectures for perception, reasoning, and action
• Build models that learn structured representations of the world
• Advance multimodal learning approaches including fusion and alignment
• Improve model capabilities in generalization, robustness, and long-horizon reasoning
• Work across the model lifecycle from research to deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional AI and robotics teams
