AI/ML Systems Engineer (2027 New College Graduate)

Globalfoundries is seeking an early-career AI/ML Systems Engineer to analyze and model the performance of machine learning systems. You will quantify workload behavior, identify bottlenecks, and develop models to predict hardware performance. This role involves close collaboration with hardware, compiler, and runtime teams to drive optimizations and communicate findings.

• Characterize AI/ML workloads and quantify compute/memory behavior
• Build and validate analytical models for system performance
• Partner with hardware and software engineers on optimization discussions
• Own benchmarking and modeling efforts from end to end
• Communicate conclusions through reports and presentations
• Strong mathematical reasoning and computer architecture understanding
