Research Engineer

AfterQuery is seeking a Research Engineer to design and run experiments that analyze the impact of datasets on foundation model behavior. You will own the full experiment loop, from hypothesis formulation to result analysis, and build the infrastructure to support these efforts. • Design and run experiments to assess dataset impact on model behavior
• Own the full experiment loop: hypothesis, pipeline, analysis, and next steps
• Build post-training infrastructure for SFT, RL, and evaluation workflows
• Develop reliable pipelines for data preparation, versioning, and training
• Create reusable abstractions for researchers to launch experiments quickly
• Integrate systems with partner labs and compute environments
