Applied Machine Learning Engineer

Quartermaster is seeking a pragmatic Applied ML Engineer to develop and deploy AI solutions for our maritime intelligence platform. You will work across computer vision, sensor fusion, and edge inference to build robust, real-time systems in challenging field conditions. • Design, train, and evaluate ML models for object detection, anomaly detection, and sensor inference
• Optimize models and inference pipelines for edge hardware performance
• Develop datasets, including augmentation and synthetic data generation
• Implement real-time sensor data processing pipelines
• Experience with Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Familiarity with edge ML deployments and model optimization
