Principal Scientist (Research Scientist)

ICON is seeking a Principal Scientist with expertise in bioanalytical method development using LC/MS/MS. This role involves leading research for clinical trials, managing client programs, and shaping assay strategies for new therapies. You will develop and validate assays for preclinical and clinical specimens, oversee method transfers, and provide technical expertise to sponsors and internal teams.

• Lead development and validation of new LC/MS/MS assays
• Develop robust methods for small molecules, radiolabeled analytes, and biologics
• Oversee transfer of LC/MS/MS methods to other ICON lab locations
• Provide technical input for marketing collateral and publish research
• Consult with sponsors on assay requirements for new projects
• PhD or equivalent degree with proven LC/MS/MS method development experience
