About this role

Zipline is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to integrate Generative AI into their complex drone delivery logistics system. This role involves building and deploying end-to-end AI tools to solve real-world operational challenges across various business functions, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

What we are looking for

Implement GenAI strategy and solutions for high-impact operational workflows
Build and deploy end-to-end AI tools to solve real-world problems
Partner directly with operators, engineers, and business leaders
Decompose messy business problems into reliable technical workflows
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C++
Experience building LLMs and data processing pipelines
