Lead Data Scientist

Lead Data Scientist to drive analytics and decision support for Aetna Medicare Stars Patient Safety measures. You will build analytical frameworks, models, and tools to identify and address member and provider-level gaps, directly impacting Star Ratings. This role requires a blend of individual contribution and technical leadership, partnering closely with clinical and program leaders to translate data insights into actionable interventions.

• Own end-to-end analytics for Patient Safety measures including medication adherence, SUPD, and polypharmacy
• Build and maintain cohort segmentation, risk scoring, and gap-prediction models
• Design and evaluate outreach and intervention pilots using rigorous methodology
• Lead technical mentoring of junior and mid-level data scientists
• Partner with clinical pharmacy and population health leaders to translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Maintain command of CMS Patient Safety measure specifications and scoring methodology
