R&D Data Analysis and Machine Learning Software Engineer (Engineering Scientist Associate)

Conduct research and development in data analysis and machine learning for the Environmental Sciences Laboratory. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing algorithms, writing and testing software, and preparing technical reports. You will collaborate with project teams and sponsors, and potentially deploy software externally.

• Design, develop, and implement data analysis and machine learning algorithms
• Write and test flexible and maintainable software
• Prepare analysis presentations and technical reports
• Collaborate with project team members, supervisors, and sponsors
• Support software deployment outside of ARL
• Requires Bachelor's degree in science/engineering, proficiency in Python/MATLAB, and strong math background
