Exa, an applied AI lab, is seeking an ML Research Engineer to train embedding models for a novel web search engine. You will develop massive-scale ML systems, including transformer-based architectures and large datasets, to create a search engine that aims to surpass Google.

• Train foundational models for search
• Develop novel transformer-based search architectures
• Create large-scale datasets and evaluation systems
• Code transformers from scratch in PyTorch
• Work on pre-training hundred billion parameter models
• Build RLAIF pipelines for search
