Senior Research Scientist

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, seeks a Senior Research Scientist for an onsite role in Portland, OR. This position involves overseeing the scientific aspects of assay development and validation projects, with a focus on genomic assays like RT-PCR, qPCR, and ddPCR.

• Oversee scientific aspects of assay development/validation projects
• Direct development and validation of new genomic assays
• Exhibit scientific leadership for clinical trial sample testing
• Manage R&D assay validations including experiments and data analysis
• Attend and present results at client-facing meetings
• Minimum 6 years of experience in genomic assays
