Research Scientist I

Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Research Scientist I to support the Organic Laboratory’s Emergency Response Program within the Wadsworth Center’s Division of Environmental Health Sciences. This role involves analyzing clinical samples for toxic chemicals using advanced chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques, contributing to new protocol development, and maintaining laboratory documentation. The position is part of a team dedicated to protecting New York's citizens' health.

• Perform analysis of clinical samples using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS
• Support Organic Laboratory's Emergency Response Program
• Contribute to the development of new measurement protocols
• Maintain laboratory documentation and prepare reports
• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical science with 2 years of experience, or Master's with 1 year
