Machine Learning Engineer II

Abnormal AI is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Message Security Detection team. You will design and implement systems to detect and prevent cyber attacks by building high-recall detection engines that operate on millions of messages with low latency. This role involves modeling communication patterns, incorporating signals, and training models to improve detection efficacy against evolving threats.

• Design and implement systems combining rules, models, and feature engineering for email detection
• Identify and recommend new features and ML model approaches to improve detection efficacy
• Train models on datasets to improve efficacy on specialized attacks
• Analyze datasets to categorize capability gaps and recommend improvements
• Contribute to building and debugging data pipelines
• 3+ years experience designing, building, and deploying ML applications
