Senior Lead AI Engineer(MLX, Agentic AI, Gen AI platform Services)

Capital One is seeking a Senior Lead AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products and foundational AI systems. This role involves working with large language models, agentic AI, and Gen AI platform services, leveraging cloud technologies and optimizing AI systems for performance and scalability.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components
• Focus on foundation model training, LLM inference, and Gen AI platform services
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies like AWS, Huggingface, VectorDBs, PyTorch
• Optimize LLM performance for scalability, cost, latency, and throughput
• Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap of foundational AI systems
• Partner with cross-functional teams of engineers, scientists, and product managers
