Senior Applied AI Engineer

Inversion is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to define and build the company's internal AI tooling strategy. You will own the research, development, and deployment of AI systems to enhance team efficiency and decision-making, starting with software engineering workflows and expanding company-wide. This cross-functional role involves identifying opportunities, prototyping, and shaping the future of AI-enabled work at Inversion.

• Design, build, and deploy internal AI systems and agent-based workflows
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of applied AI tools
• Develop agent platforms and supporting infrastructure
• Research and validate technical approaches for AI systems
• Establish best practices for applied AI development
• Define the long-term vision for AI tools across the company
