About this role

The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State seeks a Software Research and Development Engineer to conduct advanced research in AI/ML and software engineering. You will develop novel methods and technologies, communicate results through technical reports and publications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and prototype mission-focused solutions.

Conduct advanced research in AI/ML, software engineering, or computational systems

Integrate AI/ML models into software systems or prototypes
Requires eligibility for TS/SCI clearance and background investigation
