Sr Data Scientist

PayPal seeks a Senior Data Scientist in Chicago to analyze complex datasets, build and implement machine learning models for credit risk forecasting, and design experiments to validate hypotheses. This role involves partnering with various business teams to ensure accurate forecasting, effective stress testing, and appropriate reserve setting, while also enhancing and automating existing processes.

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights
• Design, develop, and implement Machine Learning and/or AI models for NCL forecasting
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B, holdouts) to validate hypotheses
• Enhance and automate existing NCL forecasting processes
• Partner with Finance, Strategy, Collections, Risk, and Business teams
• Monitor and validate model performance, manage model risk
