Founding Engineer (AI/ML)

As a Founding Engineer (AI/ML) at Clera, you will be instrumental in building the core intelligence layer of our AI recruiting marketplace. You will design, develop, and deploy sophisticated recommendation, ranking, retrieval, and LLM-powered matching systems that drive candidate-role connections. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of a foundational product in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Own recommendation, ranking, and retrieval systems from design to production
• Build and improve LLM-powered matching features
• Take product features from problem definition to production
• Architect and maintain ML data pipelines and production services
• 2-5 years of experience building and shipping end-to-end software features
• Hands-on experience with recommendation, ranking, or ML matching systems
