AI/ML Engineer — Active TS/SCI | Dayton, OH

Rackner is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to build, integrate, and operationalize artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities for a high-impact federal mission. You will work across the AI lifecycle, from model development to software integration and user enablement, turning emerging AI into practical tools. This role offers broader ownership and opportunities to shape technical approaches and directly engage with users.

• Build and evaluate ML, deep learning, and generative AI solutions
• Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities across applications, APIs, and services
• Assess models and data for suitability and mission value
• Enable LLM and GenAI capabilities through repeatable workflows
• Translate prototypes into usable capabilities addressing performance and scalability
• Partner with software engineers, data engineers, and stakeholders
