Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at 3M, you will drive innovation by developing and implementing advanced digital science capabilities. You will apply data science, machine learning, and simulation to solve complex R&D challenges, focusing on laboratory automation, Forge, and RepairStack. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams and owning pilot projects from concept to outcome measurement.

• Identify and prioritize digital science opportunities to accelerate innovation
• Develop, validate, and implement predictive, statistical, and machine-learning models
• Define data requirements and ensure data quality and accessibility
• Translate technical challenges into scalable digital solutions
• Own pilot delivery from opportunity identification through adoption and outcome measurement
• Bachelor's degree in science, math, or engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
