About this role
Motional is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead initiatives in improving evaluation and testing methodologies for their autonomous driving systems. You will focus on measuring the quality and trustworthiness of performance evaluations, partnering with engineering teams to monitor and strengthen the evaluation ecosystem, and ensuring performance evaluation is efficient and scientifically rigorous.

6- Lead development of evaluation frameworks for autonomous systems
- Collaborate with Functional Safety and Systems Engineering teams
- Ensure evaluation metrics map to automotive safety standards
- Monitor reliability of evaluation metrics and performance data
- Drive performance analysis using data-backed statistical methods
- Develop new statistical analysis methods for AV performance data
