Research Scientist I

Baxter is seeking a Research Scientist I to join their R&D chemistry laboratory in Round Lake, Illinois. This role focuses on extractables and leachables studies, involving analytical method development, validation, and advanced chemical analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Lead extractables & leachables studies
• Perform advanced chemical and impurity analyses
• Partner with Regulatory, Toxicology, Quality, and R&D teams
• Investigate out-of-specification results
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate complex analytical data
• Author and maintain analytical protocols and SOPs
