Lead AI/ML Engineer (Computer Vision)

Lead a dedicated AI/ML engineering team focused on computer vision for critical government applications. You will design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art object detection models, specifically custom YOLO architectures, to process live video feeds and identify key objects. This role involves architecting end-to-end pipelines, defining data strategies, and optimizing model performance for real-time inference.

• Lead a 3-person AI/ML computer vision engineering team
• Design, train, and deploy custom YOLO models from scratch
• Process live Full-Motion Video (FMV) feeds for object detection
• Architect offline training pipelines and data curation standards
• Optimize model inference speed and accuracy using GPU acceleration
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment
