Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Caterpillar, you will be instrumental in advancing our analytics capabilities by tackling complex problems and developing data products. You will collaborate with internal customers, engineers, and dealers to translate data insights into actionable solutions that support equipment operation and development. • Lead large-scale data collection, mining, processing, and modeling
• Apply NLP, text analytics, and machine learning to expand semantic data capabilities
• Define analysis requirements and present actionable insights through data visualizations
• Collaborate with engineers to translate data insights into actionable requirements
• Skilled in SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Python, Snowflake, and cloud data services
• Experience with mechanical systems or large construction equipment is a plus
