Research Engineer, Content Understanding

Exa is building a revolutionary search engine powered by AI and massive-scale infrastructure. As a Research Engineer on our Content Understanding team, you will tackle complex challenges in natural language processing and machine learning to interpret and classify web content. You'll define ground truth for novel problems and build systems that ensure the quality and trustworthiness of information at web scale.

• Graduate-level ML experience or equivalent
• Build and train transformer models in PyTorch
• Experience with large-scale dataset creation and management
• Comfortable defining ground truth for ambiguous problems
• Passion for improving knowledge discovery and combating misinformation
• Ability to build accurate and cost-effective web-scale ML systems
