Founding Engineer (AI/ML)

As a Founding Engineer (AI/ML) at Clera, you will build the core intelligence layer for an AI-powered recruiting marketplace. You will own the recommendation, ranking, and matching systems, developing LLM-powered features to connect candidates with roles. This is a unique opportunity to shape a foundational product area and work closely with leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Build and own recommendation, ranking, retrieval, and matching systems
• Develop LLM-powered features for candidate-role alignment
• Take product features from definition to production release
• Architect and maintain production data pipelines and services
• 2-5 years of experience building and shipping end-to-end software features
• Production experience with ML-powered matching or recommendation systems
