Nissan is seeking a Machine Learning Research Intern to contribute to the future of autonomous vehicles. You will develop and evaluate algorithms for updating high-definition maps using sensor data, helping autonomous systems understand evolving road environments. This is a 12-week program focused on hands-on research in mapping and perception technologies.

• Develop and evaluate algorithms for automated map maintenance in autonomous vehicles
• Analyze road geometry, lane configurations, and infrastructure changes using vehicle sensor data
• Compare sensor observations with existing map data to identify inconsistencies
• Gain hands-on experience with high-definition mapping and perception technologies
• Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a relevant field
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python
