Research Specialist II

Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking a Research Specialist II to compile, review, and analyze research data and metadata. This role involves conducting experiments, making observations, and assisting with data collection and summarization. The specialist will also train students and staff, and contribute to scientific publications and grant proposals.

• Compile and review data and metadata
• Collect samples and measurements for experiments
• Compute projections and perform analysis and tests
• Make and record observations and scientific measurements
• Train undergraduate and/or graduate students and staff
• Prepare and write proposals to funding agencies
