Research Scientist II

The Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering is seeking a Research Scientist II to support federally funded projects focused on occupational safety training and program evaluation. You will coordinate training activities, manage data collection and quality assurance, assist with analysis, and contribute to reports and grant activities. This role offers the chance to work independently on applied projects connecting safety training with real-world challenges.

• Coordinate instructor-led OSHA training and related activities
• Manage participant recruitment, screening, and communication
• Provide guidance on training technologies and project expectations
• Coordinate data collection, verification, and quality assurance
• Assist with data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
• Support grant-related activities and external partner communication
