Data Scientist & Machine Learning Researcher

RTX is seeking a Data Scientist & Machine Learning Researcher to join their Strategic Research Group in the UK. This role involves developing novel AI/ML solutions for mission-focused problems, from initial concept to delivery. You will contribute to research projects, work autonomously on assigned tasks, and communicate your findings to senior leaders.

• Develop novel data science and machine learning solutions
• Undertake research and applied AI/ML tasks
• Generate ideas for new research directions
• Deliver AI/ML/Data Science solutions for defence problems
• Experience coding in Python and associated ML packages
• Understanding of AI/ML algorithms including Generative AI, NLP, and computer vision

• Must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
