AI Engineer

Abbott is seeking an AI Software Engineer to enhance user health through a Go-based medical device web application and SaaS cloud platform. This role involves developing AI-enabled features, implementing AI solutions for internal processes, and contributing to AI Ops initiatives within a regulated healthcare environment.

• Develop and deliver AI-enabled product features including LLM capabilities and ML models
• Implement AI solutions to improve internal engineering and quality processes
• Make implementation-level design decisions within approved AI architecture
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs across performance, accuracy, safety, and cost
• Support AI Ops initiatives and customize large language models
• Collaborate in scrum activities and translate business needs into AI solutions
