AI Engineer

Roche is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize production-ready AI and Generative AI systems. This role involves hands-on model development, system architecture, prompt engineering, and ensuring scalable, secure solutions compliant with healthcare data regulations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver AI solutions leveraging enterprise datasets and champion secure, explainable AI practices.

• Design, build, and optimize production AI/ML systems and Generative AI solutions
• Architect and implement scalable AI systems on cloud platforms like AWS
• Develop RAG pipelines, fine-tune foundation models, and engineer prompts
• Implement LLM observability, CI/CD pipelines, and security/privacy best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a scaled Agile environment
• Experience with Python, SQL, ML frameworks, and agent orchestration tools
