Staff Data Scientist, Product

GEICO is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to partner with product, engineering, and design leaders. You will leverage data, experimentation, and causal inference to drive product decisions, define key metrics, and conduct deep-dive analyses. This role involves mentoring junior team members and establishing best practices for data science within the organization.

• Partner with product, engineering, and design leaders to frame business questions and shape roadmaps
• Define and implement metric frameworks for product areas
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B and quasi-experiments
• Apply causal inference methods to complex problems
• Build decision models for forecasting and opportunity sizing
• Lead root-cause investigations into user behavior and performance
