Lead AI Engineer

Regeneron seeks a Lead AI Engineer to architect and deliver enterprise-scale AI capabilities, including intelligent agents and LLM-powered applications, to accelerate drug discovery and research. You will lead a team, drive cross-functional collaboration, and communicate AI strategy to senior stakeholders, while maintaining hands-on Python development and AI systems design.

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI applications and LLM-powered systems
• Design and build AI Agents and autonomous systems using agentic frameworks
• Develop and operate MCP servers for secure integration between AI agents and enterprise data
• Apply advanced LLM techniques like prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG
• Administer and evolve the enterprise LLM and AI Gateway platform
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI engineers
