Machine Learning Research Intern - Spring 2027 - Santa Clara, CA

Join Nissan's EV & Energy Services team as a Machine Learning Research Intern to develop innovative solutions for smart cities and future mobility. You will build and optimize machine learning and simulation models for high-utilization mobility fleets, analyzing complex datasets to drive improvements in areas like charging, battery health, and fleet operations.

• Develop, train, and optimize ML and simulation models for mobility services
• Analyze vehicle, charging, fleet, and battery data
• Support development of simulation tools for fleet utilization and charging strategies
• Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders on data and model evaluation
• Strong Python, ML/data science tools (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Pursuing Master's or PhD in a technical field (CS, Stats, Eng, etc.)
