Machine Learning Research Engineer – Visual Navigation

Join Harmattan AI as a Machine Learning Research Engineer focused on visual navigation for autonomous defense systems. You will develop and deploy cutting-edge deep learning models for drone navigation, influencing technical direction and working on real-world impact from data curation to onboard inference.

• Design deep learning models for drone localization and environmental analysis
• Optimize and embed models for edge deployment on heterogeneous platforms
• Collaborate with VIO, Navigation, and Embedded Software teams
• Stay at the forefront of Deep Learning research and introduce new methodologies
• Build and manage MLOps pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment
• Participate in field testing and analyze in-field failures for model improvement
