Applied AI Engineer, Agentic Analytics Platform

Visa is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build and operate a full-stack analytical agent that allows users to explore, analyze, and visualize financial data using natural language. You will be responsible for designing agent workflows, ensuring the accuracy of answers, and developing the underlying Python, Node.js, and React codebase. This role offers end-to-end ownership of features within a live production system.

• Build and extend the agent harness, including goals, context, instructions, tools, and validation checks
• Design agent workflows from data retrieval and SQL generation to validation and visualization
• Ensure agent behavior is reliable in production through structured outputs and robust error handling
• Develop and maintain the knowledge layer defining business terms and metrics
• Validate agent output against trusted data sources and reference reports
• Develop Python services, Node.js APIs, and React/TypeScript interfaces
