AI Platform Engineer

Build and operate the machine learning and generative AI platform for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics, managing the full model lifecycle from data pipelines to production serving and monitoring. This role involves hands-on infrastructure work to optimize inference, ensure repeatable model deployment, and provide interfaces for other engineers.

• Build and maintain ML/LLM data, feature, and training pipelines
• Implement automated evaluation and promotion gates for models
• Automate model lifecycle end-to-end via CI/CD and GitOps
• Build and operate production model-serving infrastructure
• Architect and manage GPU infrastructure for training and inference
• Instrument platform and models for monitoring, drift detection, and cost tracking
