Staff Software Engineer - Machine Learning/Computer Vision

Symbotic is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our expanding ML Vision Team. You will develop and deploy cutting-edge deep learning vision models that enable our autonomous robots to operate with exceptional safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This role involves building both on-bot and in-cloud infrastructure, closely collaborating with hardware and software teams, and deploying solutions to our global robot fleet.

• Implement state-of-the-art on-bot vision solutions using Python and C++
• Build on-bot and in-cloud infrastructure for binocular and 3D vision
• Design and build dashboards and metrics for vision solution development and monitoring
• Understand and optimize sensor packages with electrical engineers and kernel developers
• Deploy vision solutions to a global robot fleet in collaboration with QA and DevOps
• Own a perception sub-system and contribute to ML model development from scratch
