Machine Learning Engineer

Join Adobe as a Staff Backend Engineer to build and launch a new AI product, operating as a startup founding engineer within a large technology company. You will design and scale the infrastructure for intelligent, autonomous applications, working at the intersection of backend engineering, applied ML, and AI agent orchestration.

• Architect, implement, and scale backend services for AI applications
• Design APIs and microservices integrating LLMs and vector databases
• Build infrastructure for AI agents (task planning, tool use, orchestration)
• Ensure backend systems are reliable, performant, and secure at scale
• Develop monitoring, logging, and observability for agent behaviors and ML pipelines
• Translate requirements into scalable backend solutions with product and design teams
