Senior Research Scientist

Mass General Brigham seeks a Senior Research Scientist to lead scientific and operational strategy for the Korzenik Lab. This role involves managing research programs, personnel, regulatory compliance, and financial resources to advance basic, translational, and clinical research initiatives in partnership with the Principal Investigator. The ideal candidate will possess strong scientific acumen, operational expertise, and leadership skills within an academic medical setting.

• Lead scientific and operational vision for a research lab and center
• Oversee laboratory operations, infrastructure, and workflows
• Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to research staff
• Ensure regulatory compliance, laboratory safety, and biosafety practices
• Manage budget planning, expenditure oversight, and financial forecasting
• Develop institutional and external partnerships
