Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Join Expedia Group as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist on the Lodging Search Ranking AI team. You will develop and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning and genAI models to optimize lodging search and personalization for millions of travelers. This applied science role offers the opportunity to directly impact business results through A/B testing and close collaboration with product and engineering teams.

• Design, develop, and apply ML solutions for personalization and ranking
• Drive end-to-end scientific work from problem formulation to production
• Partner with engineers and product managers to integrate ML solutions
• Select and validate appropriate ML methods for model improvement
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions in production systems
• Stay current with advancements in recommender systems and relevance algorithms
