The New York Mets are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our Baseball Analytics Department for Summer 2027. You will build, test, and present statistical models to support Baseball Operations decisions. This role requires a strong foundation in statistics and data analytics, with the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.

• Build statistical models for baseball operations
• Interpret data and report conclusions
• Present model outputs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Communicate with Baseball Analytics and Baseball Operations teams
• Proficiency in R or Python
• Pursuing a degree in statistics or a related field
