Research Scientist

Texas A&M Health is seeking a Research Scientist to study epigenetic and transcriptional regulation in cancer immunotherapy and hematological diseases. This role involves supporting research using cell-based systems, animal models, molecular assays, and high-throughput sequencing. The scientist will also mentor junior lab members and lead research projects.

• Conduct epigenetic studies in normal development and disease
• Identify epigenetic mechanisms in cancer and immune cells
• Lead and perform experiments in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and disease models
• Conduct rodent studies and preclinical tumor models
• Assist with training junior personnel and contributing to research proposals and publications
• Collaborate with internal and external partners
