Senior AI/ML Engineer

Fidelity is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and build core GenAI platform components, including an LLM gateway, guardrails, and observability systems. This role focuses on infrastructure and platform development, not prompt engineering, and requires technical leadership and mentorship to drive engineering excellence and set standards for scalable, resilient, and secure GenAI solutions.

• Design and build core GenAI platform capabilities like LLM gateway and guardrails
• Develop retrieval and agentic infrastructure, including RAG components
• Implement observability and cost management systems for GenAI usage
• Establish evaluation frameworks for GenAI model quality and safety
• Drive technical direction and architecture for scalable, resilient, and secure platforms
• Lead through code and mentorship, setting engineering standards and growing team capabilities
