Research Engineer – Chemical Sciences

RTX is seeking a Research Engineer in Chemical Sciences to focus on materials development and electrochemical systems research. You will join an interdisciplinary team synthesizing, manufacturing, and evaluating advanced materials for RTX applications. This role involves collaborating with internal business units and external experts in a research laboratory environment.

• Conduct research in chemical sciences, focusing on materials development and electrochemical systems
• Synthesize, manufacture, and evaluate advanced materials and coatings
• Work with electrochemical systems, chemical sensing, batteries, and fuel cells
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external experts
• Utilize Python for data analysis and collection
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
