Sr. AI Engineer - FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) - U.S. Federal Sector

Databricks is seeking a Senior AI Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) to join their customer-facing AI team focused on the U.S. Federal Sector. This role involves building and productionizing cutting-edge GenAI solutions for clients, acting as a technical advisor, and collaborating with product and engineering teams. The position requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a secret clearance, with a hybrid work arrangement in the Washington D.C. metro area.

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using Databricks AI research
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to federal clients
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence roadmap
• Experience building GenAI applications with RAG, LLMOps, etc.
• Deploy production-grade GenAI applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
