Machine Learning Engineer, Platform

Scale AI is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Generative AI platform team in London. You will be responsible for building and deploying end-to-end ML components, focusing on retrieval and knowledge representation systems to power enterprise agents. This role involves working with RAG pipelines, vector stores, and ensuring the performance and reliability of ML systems in production.

• Own ML components end-to-end from research to production
• Build retrieval and knowledge representation systems
• Design and implement RAG pipelines
• Develop context retrieval systems balancing performance and cost
• Build evaluation frameworks and metrics for retrieval quality
• Develop reliable backend services and data pipelines
