About this role
OpenRouter is seeking a Data Scientist to build the intelligence layer for their AI routing platform. You will analyze billions of LLM generations to improve the product, customer experience, and routing systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership of problems, from framing to shipping solutions that directly impact customers.
What we are looking for
6- Build and improve core model routing and provider routing systems
- Develop analytics products and conduct deep-dive analyses for user optimization
- Design and ship user-facing data features like classification taxonomies and performance rankings
- Define and track product metrics to inform roadmap and architectural decisions
- Contribute to the data warehouse (dbt, ClickHouse) for scalability
- 4+ years of relevant experience in data science or applied ML
